Care Packs to Cheer Up Lonely Students

Care Packs to Cheer Up Lonely Students

Recently, a student noticed that one of her classmates did not attend an exam. This student was worried because her friend was always on time and never absent. So she reached out and contacted her, only to find out that she had been experiencing anxiety attacks.

When the iSurvived Cyberjaya team heard about this, they quickly sent her a care pack. The feedback we received through her friend was that the girl was very grateful and happy about it.

Another student had been sharing on social media that she wasn’t okay because of the lockdown, or movement control order (MCO). Our team reached out with a care pack and she was also grateful that people were looking out for her and that she wasn’t alone in this pandemic.

If you know any student who has been adversely affected by the lockdowns, we have a partner organisation called LINetS to look into student’s mental health and to prevent self-harm. Contact them at 03-8601 4735 or email info@linets.org.my
